The enemy continues to storm Severodonetsk, where fierce fighting continues. The assault was repulsed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Novookhtyrka and Voronove, announced by the Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai in a Telegram channel.
In the area of Belogorovka, the occupiers use reconnaissance and sabotage group. In addition, the russian army does not stop firing on the settlements of the region. In Lysychansk, the enemy fired on a mining college and school. Two people were injured in the shelling of the school - they were evacuated. Three more wounded were hospitalized from Lysychansk and Privillya.
"On the morning of June 6, there was a massive shelling of the city of Zolote, where, according to preliminary data, 13 houses were destroyed at once. In the afternoon, the russians hit the town of Hirske - 11 damaged houses," Gaidai said.
During the past 24 hours, ten enemy attacks were repulsed, one tank, three artillery systems, two armored combat vehicles, one car and two ammunition depots were destroyed. Air defense units shot down two Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles.
At the beginning of last week the enemy advanced from the outskirts deep into Severodonetsk. According to Haidai, as of yesterday, the Armed Forces controlled about half of the city, but due to incessant fighting, the situation is constantly changing.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the city could not be given to the russians, as deoccupation "would be at great sacrifice".
