The United States is providing Ukraine with more advanced missile systems and ammunition to help Ukrainians defend their territory from russia, stated at a briefing by White House spokeswoman Karin Jean-Pierre, answering questions about how the administration of US President Joe Biden responds to threats by russia to "strike targets that they have not striked yet" if the West continues to supply Ukraine's weapons.
She noted that this is russia's attack on Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, this is russia's war.

Ukrainian troops have started training at HIMARS MLRS, which is sent by the United States.
On June 1, US President Joe Biden confirmed that his administration was sending advanced medium-range missile systems to Ukraine. Advanced weapons are part of a new $ 700 million military aid package.
According to the US Army, missiles fired from HIMARS have a range of about 43 miles. Currently, the Ukrainian military uses the russian version of this system.
