The ambassadors of the European Union have approved the sixth package of sanctions, European Pravda reports, citing Radio Liberty correspondent Rikard Jozwiak.

This package includes a partial oil embargo against russia.
According to Jozwiak, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Kirill, was excluded from the sanctions package.
"The EU ambassadors approved the 6th package of sanctions against Russia without personal sanctions against Patriarch Kirill," the journalist wrote.
According to Bloomberg, Hungary insisted on the exclusion of Kirill.
Budapest demanded that the EU ambassadors remove the head of the Russian Orthodox Church from the proposed list of persons subject to sanctions.
Details of the sixth package are due to be published tomorrow, June 3, in the Official Journal of the EU.
The head of the EU mission said that the sixth package of sanctions would affect 90% of Russia's oil exports, which is tens of billions of euros a year.
Meanwhile, there is a discussion on the seventh package of sanctions. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs head, Dmytro Kuleba, stated that the package would come to be, but without the gas embargo.
