The Senate of Ireland has approved a resolution recognizing russia's actions in Ukraine as genocide.
Senator Mark Daly announced this on Twitter.

"The illegal invasion of Ukraine by the russian federation is an act of genocide," - he quoted part of the document.
Earlier, Estonia, Latvia, Canada, Poland, Lithuania, and the Czech Republic recognized the war in Ukraine as genocide. Ukraine was the first to approve the correspondent document.
