Enemy vehicles continue to be recorded on the borders with Chernihiv and Sumy regions. But these forces are currently not enough to re-invade our country from russia.

This was announced at a briefing by a spokesman for the State Border Guard Service Andriy Demchenko, reports LB.

"We are not recording the accumulation of necessary forces for the re-invasion of our country from russia at this time. The enemy is firing to deter Ukrainian forces and in order to prevent the transfer of our forces to hotter areas - Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk regions." , - he noted.

Areas of the border with belarus have been strengthened by the State Border Guard Service and other components of the security and defence sectors. Ukraine is in control of the situation with the announced military exercises in belarus.

"We do not see any significant changes along the border with belarus. Of course, as you know, the belarusian side and the belarusian armed forces are strengthening their border with Ukraine, noting that they expect some provocations. Everything is being done to strengthen the border with russia and the border with belarus in order to prevent any further provocations or repeated attempts to invade Ukraine from these areas," he said.

According to a SBGS spokesman, the situation on the border with Moldova "remains unchanged in the Transnistrian segment." This part of the border is also constantly checked.

On May 26 the deputy minister of defence Anna Malyar reported that there was a threat of use of Belarus for strikes across Ukraine under the pretext of carrying out exercises. The threat of using the Transnistrian region of Moldova to strike at Ukraine also remains.
