The United States has expanded the list of sanctions against russian individuals and legal entities in connection with the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine.
This was reported by the US Treasury Department.
The list, in particular, includes:
- the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the russian federation Maria Zakharova;
- Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko;
- russian businessman Alexei Mordashov, as well as his wife and children;
- russian businessman God Nisanov;
- Minister of Economic Development of the russian federation Maxim Reshetnikov;
- cellist Sergei Roldugin, whom russian dictator Vladimir Putin called his friend;
- Minister of Transport of the russian federation Vitaly Savelyev;
- head of the Ministry of Construction of the russian federation Irek Faizullin.
Also on the list are 16 companies, including Severstal. In addition, the American side has imposed sanctions on seven yachts and three planes connecting with the russians.
Earlier it also became known that the EU ambassadors approved the sixth package of sanctions against russia, but expelled Patriarch Kirill from it. The head of the EU delegation said that the sixth package of sanctions will affect 90% of russia's oil exports, which is tens of billions of euros a year.
Meanwhile, it’s about 7 packages of sanctions. Thus, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba noted that this package will definitely be, but without the gas embargo.
