Since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion, the Air Defense Units of the National Guard of Ukraine have destroyed 17 enemy air targets.
The Head of the Operation Department of the Main Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine, Oleksiy Nadtochyi, reported this information.
He said that the losses of the occupiers included six SU-25 aircraft, eight helicopters, and three UAVs.
"I should mention that two SU-25 aircraft were destroyed by a conscript using MANPADS "IGLA," added Nadtochyi.
He also noted that the aircraft units of the National Guard conducted more than 140 air reconnaissance missions, and the National Guard reconnaissance units revealed 1,310 russian targets.
The conscript of the National Guard in the Zaporizhzhia region shot down already three enemy aircraft, skillfully using MANPADS "Igla."
