During the day of 7 May, the occupiers shelled more than 16 settlements in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the Joint Forces Task Force press service reported.
"Along the entire defence line the enemy is using combat aviation, multiple rocket launchers, barrel large calibers artillery, tanks, and mortars of different systems fires missiles and bombs at civil infrastructure objects and civil residential areas," – the report says.
Today, russian occupiers in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions destroyed and damaged 39 civil objects – 36 residential buildings, a school, a kindergarten, and a power line.
As a result of the shellings, one civilian was killed and six more got wounded.
Over the past day, the Joint Forces Task Force fighters destroyed:
3 tanks;
5 artillery systems;
2 combat armored vehicles;
13 automobiles;
3 warehouses with ammunition.
Also, the air defence units shot down 2 unmanned aircraft vehicles of "Orlan-10" type in the sky over Donbas.
On 7 May, Ukrainian defenders in the Task Force East area destroyed 56 invaders.
