Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducting an offensive in some parts of the front, Oleksiy Hromov says

Protracted fighting continues in the eastern direction. The Armed Forces of Ukraine restrain the enemy with the help of positional or maneuverable defense.

This was announced at the Media Center Ukraine by Deputy Chief of the Main Operations Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Hromov.

"Simultaneously with the conduct of hostilities on all front lines, the Ukrainian military is conducting offensive operations in certain areas to improve the operational situation and liberate the territory from the occupiers," he said.

Over the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repulsed seven enemy attacks, destroyed three tanks, two armored combat vehicles and four units of enemy vehicles in Donetsk and Luhansk directions. Air Defense units shot down six Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles.
