Russian air defence has been activated in occupied Crimea's Sevastopol, the head of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov, said on Facebook.
The gauleiter of the occupied Crimean city, Mikhail Rozvazhayev, confirmed the work of the air defence systems.
"In the evening the right drones have the property of returning to the positions of the Russian occupiers. There are drones again over Aqyar/Sevastopol, which the orcs are trying to hit from the Pantsir-S SAM system," Chubarov noted.
At 8.20 a.m. today, a strong explosion was heard in occupied Crimea near the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol.
There were also explosions in Yevpatoriya and over Olenevka in the Black Sea district.
In August, a series of explosions occurred at military airfields in occupied Crimea, accompanied by fires and ammunition detonation.
