The Ukrainian Defence Forces have launched offensives in many directions in the south of the country, Natalya Humenyuk, head of the joint press centre for the Defence Forces South, has said in a commentary to Hromadske.

Humenyuk also said on TV that after accurate strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kherson Region, the occupiers do not want to go on the attack and are staying at their fortified lines.

This afternoon, the Kakhovka task force reported that militants from Donetsk Region involved in a full-scale war against Ukraine abandoned their positions in Kherson Region. Russian paratroopers left too. The military released a video of an occupier saying that the Ukrainian armed forces had broken the first line of defence in Kherson Region.

Additionally, Kakhovka said that due to the destruction of the occupiers' supply routes to Kherson Region, the Russian army was cut off from supplies of weapons and personnel from the territory of Crimea. They said that "this is a brilliant chance for Ukraine to reclaim its territories".
