The Russian occupying troops have been shelling the town of Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhya Region for 14 hours. Authorities urge women with children to evacuate to safe places, the head of the Zaporizhzhya regional military administration, Oleksandr Starukh, has said.
"A three-year-old boy, Yaroslav, and a six-year-old girl, Oleksandra, sustained contusions as a result of the attack. Their mother received a closed head injury. All received timely first aid. The victims have been hospitalized in Zaporizhzhya and are receiving the necessary treatment. Their condition is satisfactory," Starukh said.
He stressed that more than 200 hits have been recorded in Orikhiv in the last six hours.
"The middle part of the city has been hit the hardest. The centre is on fire," Starukh noted, adding that rescue units have made more than 18 sorties and are continuing to extinguish the fire in private buildings.
This morning the occupiers shelled Orikhiv with multiple rocket launchers.
