Russian troops shelled Nikopol this evening, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council Mykola Lukashuk,has said.
"Unfortunately, one person was killed. It is a woman born in 1955. Also, according to preliminary information, two people were injured. One residential building was destroyed," the report reads.
In addition, Russian troops shelled three districts in Dnipropetrovsk Region during the day.
In Nikopol District, the Myrovse and Marhanets communities were hit during the day. There is damage to several residential buildings, outbuildings, a gas pipeline and power supply line. No one was injured.
Russia also struck Synelnykove District, damaging three residential buildings and one outbuilding. Rescuers found a cluster element from the Uragan MLRS at the site. There were no casualties.
Five communities were shelled in Kryvyy Rih District. There is damage to the buildings of one of the businesses and the roof of a residential building is partially damaged. There were no casualties.
Earlier, it was reported that the occupiers were shelling Nikopol and Marganets from residential areas of captured Enerhodar, including with old shells, some of which do not detonate.
