Today we start with good news: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted the successes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the war against the russian occupiers.

In the evening video message, the president recalled that today he held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. "The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the commanders of operational areas, the head of intelligence reported. There were good reports," Zelenskyy said.

“Today I want to thank the soldiers of the 63rd battalion of the 103rd territorial defence brigade, who ensured the result in Donetsk Region - the settlement was liberated. The 54th brigade also made good steps in the Lysychansk-Siversk direction, moved forward, took certain heights. I also want to note the 42nd separate motorized infantry battalion - thanks to its heroic actions, two settlements in the south of our state were liberated," the head of state stressed.

Because of yesterday's explosion at an ammunition exhibition in Chernihiv, 15 people sought medical help, including eight children. Two children and two adults are in hospitals, said the head of the Chernihiv regional military-civil administration, Vyacheslav Chaus.

According to him, the State Bureau of Investigation is actively working on the case, interrogating witnesses and seizing all possible information carriers.

The head of Chernihiv Region noted that the authorities received an application from a public organization to hold a peaceful children's event with "children's play activities". "There was no message that there would be some kind of exhibition of military weapons or there would be military personnel. Of course, had we been informed that military personnel was to be present, we would have intervened in the situation, and the military would not have participated in such events," Chaus said.

On 3 September, an explosion occurred at the exhibition in Chernihiv. It was reported that the cause of the injuries was the detonation of a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher.

Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that russian aviation is working most intensively in the Pivdennyy Buh and Donetsk directions. During the day, the russians carried out 14 missile and more than 15 airstrikes on military and civilian targets.
