Russia has hit Ukraine with more than a dozen missiles since the beginning of the day, the Ukrainian Air Force has said.
The missiles were of different types - airborne and ground-based, in particular, guided aviation missiles Kh-59, Kh-31, anti-ship P-800 Onyx, cruise missiles Iskander-K, the Command said.
"In total, more than 10 missiles have been fired, two of which - Kh-59 and probably Iskander-K - were destroyed by the air defence forces and means of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces!" it noted.
The military added that the occupiers continued to use S-300 anti-aircraft missiles. They are shelling the frontline zone, in particular civilian facilities in regional centres.
This morning the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down two enemy missiles in Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolayiv regions.
The previous day, air defence forces shot down all five missiles fired by the Russians in Dnipropetrovsk Region.
