Lithuanians have sent medical supplies to Ukrainian doctors for surgical treatment of difficult fractures, the head of Cherkasy regional hospital, Ihor Taburets, has said.
In particular, the batch includes metal braces, plates, anchors and other surgical essentials. The cargo is worth about UAH 220,000.
Taburets said that doctors would now be able to provide better care to injured people when the injury ward is under strain.
Lithuania continues to provide material support not only to medical staff, but also to the Armed Forces. Among other things, Lithuania has sent Ukraine 105-mm howitzers.
