The embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Kyiv resumed its work as of 12 September, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry's press service has said.
"Our state, which continues to provide all possible assistance to Ukraine, including its citizens displaced by the war, categorically condemns Russian military aggression and supports Ukraine's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders, including territorial waters," the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry said.
The embassy will have a limited staff and will be headed by an interim manager.
The consular service at the embassy, also with a reduced staff, will resume its activities, performing a limited range of services.
Full operations should resume once the channels of communication with Bulgaria are fully restored.
