The International Monetary Fund has allocated $1.4 billion in additional support to Ukraine, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Twitter.
"I’ve had a telephone conversation with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva. I thanked her for the allocation of $1.4 billion in additional support. We discussed future cooperation to strengthen Ukraine's financial stability," the message says.
The European Commission has provided a further 5 billion euros of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine.
