On 26 September, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff. A decision was made on active actions of the Defence Forces for further de-occupation of the territory of Ukraine.
The participants also heard information on the operational situation, according to the President's website.
"We have also analyzed the provision of weapons and ammunition to the troops. The President emphasized the importance of the prompt provision of high-precision weapons and everything necessary for the forces that are actively moving forward. During the meeting, the participants separately focused on the use of new types of weapons by the enemy and outlined plans to counteract such means," the statement reads.
The participants of the meeting were Minister of Defence Oleksiy Reznikov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, Head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov, Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov, heads of law enforcement agencies and law enforcement bodies, as well as Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak and Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council Oleksiy Danilov.
Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the troops of the Operational Command "West" Serhiy Litvinov, Commander of the troops of the Operational Command "South" Andriy Kovalchuk, Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Serhiy Deyneko joined the meeting via video conference.
