In the evening of 20 October, the Antonivskyy bridge in Kherson and the crossing built by the occupiers suffered a strike, according to Kherson edition "Most". Later, the Operational Command South confirmed the information.
According to him, the strike was carried out around 11 p.m., when enemy vehicles were probably moving there. The explosions occurred when the curfew was already in effect in the city, so civilians could not be near the strike sites.
According to locals, six explosions were heard.
Update. Operational command South confirmed the strikes on the bridge. Spokeswoman Natalia Humenyuk said during a telethon that the Antonivskyy Bridge was fired upon during the curfew, so there were no civilians there, NV reports. The occupiers dressed in civilian clothes could have been injured.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine periodically make sure Antonivskyy Bridge stays unusable for the Russian military. The strikes on the bridge have been actively carried out since August, they are aimed at preventing the occupiers from gathering troops and equipment.
