Russia has had no success despite the absolute fire superiority, increase in the number of troops through mobilization and, accordingly, in the number of attacks, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhnyy has said in a telephone conversation with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States Gen Mark Milley.

Zaluzhny said on Telegram that he personally thanked the General, President Biden and the entire American people for the help, thanks to which we continue to fight.

He noted that the Ukrainian Defence Forces are focusing their efforts on the following key tasks:

- liberate the occupied territories

- prevent the enemy from seizing new areas

- - ensure the protection of critical infrastructure by means of air and missile defence

- continue the formation and training of reserves for future combat operations.

"Thanks to the courage and professionalism of Ukrainian soldiers and officers, our borders remain unchanged, and the defensive operation is being carried out successfully according to the plan," he noted.

Zaluzhnyy is in constant communication with military officials of partner countries. The previous conversation with Mark Milley took place on 25 October and concerned Russian disinformation about the preparation of a "dirty bomb".
