Minister of Defence of Luxembourg Francois Bausch announced on Twitter the provision of HMMWV ("Humvee") off-road vehicles to Ukraine.
“The Army of Luxembourg and the Defence Ministry support the Armed Forces of Ukraine by sending additional High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV). These will strengthen Ukraine in exercising its right to self-defence. Luxembourg will support Ukraine for as long as it takes,” he wrote.
HMMWV (the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle), also known as Humvee, is an all-wheel drive military vehicle manufactured by the American company AM General.
