As of 20 November, 47 places where Russians illegally detained and tortured Ukrainian citizens were found in the de-occupied areas, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry has said.

Since the beginning of the war, investigators of the National Police of Ukraine have opened 44,662 criminal proceedings over crimes committed by Russian servicemen.

These include

33,367 cases opened under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war);

9,067 - under Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine);

2,046 - under Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaboration);

97 - under Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason);

37 - under Article 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (sabotage) and others.
