The village of Bilohorivka in Luhansk Region is nothing but a name now because there is no longer a single surviving house there, Kanal 24 has quoted the head of the Luhansk regional military administration Serhiy Haiday, as saying.
Makiyivka was also heavily damaged. The houses there are not as destroyed as in Bilohorivka, but they are still shelled and uninhabitable.
The situation in Nevske is also difficult. Half of the houses there are completely destroyed, some are shelled, and a few still survived. People continue to live there, now their number is about 150 residents.
According to Hayday, every time patrol police or volunteers try to persuade these people to leave because the settlements continue to be shelled either by occasional artillery shelling or by Grad MRLS series
On 20 November, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were gradually advancing in Luhansk Region.
