The 278th day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun. The enemy is focusing its efforts on deterring the actions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces. Russian troops continue to move personnel and military equipment to replenish the units that have suffered losses. It is expected that some enemy units will be redeployed from the territory of the Republic of Belarus after they acquire combat capabilities.
Over the past day, the units of the Defence Forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers near the settlements of Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Andriyivka, Novobakhmutivka, Opytne, Vodyane, Pervomayske, Nevelske and Novomykhaylivka in Donetsk Region, the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine states.
The enemy launched 4 rocket attacks on civilian objects in Rozumivka, Zaporizhzhya Region, and Musiyivka, Dnipropetrovsk Region, and fired more than 50 MLRS attacks at the positions of our troops and peaceful settlements.
The threat of missile strikes by the russian occupiers on critical infrastructure facilities throughout Ukraine remains.
In the Volyn and Polissya areas, the situation has not changed significantly, and no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.
The units of the Belarusian special operations force, which are part of the regional grouping of the troops of the so-called union state of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, perform the task of strengthening the section of the state border.
In the Siversk area, mortar and artillery shelling was recorded near the settlements of Yanzhulivka, Mykolaivka and Halaganivka in Chernihiv Region and Vilna Sloboda in Sumy Region.
In the Slobozhansk area, the areas of the settlements of Strilecha, Starytsa, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Bochkove, Budarky, Chuhunivka and Ambarne of Kharkiv Region were hit by mortars and rocket artillery.
The enemy is defending in the Kupyansk area. Fired artillery of various types in the Bolohivka, Kamianka, Kupyansk, Kurylivka, Tabayivka, Krokhmalne and Berestove areas of Kharkiv Region.
In the Lyman area, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on conducting offensive operations. Fired from the entire variety of artillery in the areas of settlements Makiyivka, Nevske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Region and Yampolivka and Torske in Donetsk Region.
In the Bakhmut and Avdiyivka areas, the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations. Objects in the areas of Serebryanka, Spirne, Yakovlivka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka, Kurdyumivka, Vesele, Avdiyivka, Vodyane, Pervomayske, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Maryinka and Novomykhaylivka of Donetsk Region were hit by fire from tanks and artillery.
In the area of Novopavlivka, the enemy carried out artillery fire on the areas of Vuhledar, Novoukrayinka, Prechistivka, Zolota Nyva and Neskuchne settlements of Donetsk Region.
The occupiers are conducting defensive operations in the Zaporizhzhya area. The firing of mortars, barrel and rocket artillery on the positions of the Defence Forces and the areas of populated areas of Zaporizhzhya Region, which are not far from the contact line, is registered.
In the Kryvyy Rih and Kherson areas, the occupiers are in positional defence. Artillery shelling of units of our troops and settlements on the right bank of the Dnipro River, in particular the city of Kherson, does not stop.
The enemy continues to suffer significant losses. It has been confirmed that the object of the Russian invaders was damaged in the area of Enerhodar. On 26 November of this year, 6 units of military equipment of various types were destroyed and about 30 servicemen were injured. As a result of the actions of the Defence Forces, about 80 invaders were injured in the areas of Polohy and Chernihivka settlements of Zaporizhzhya Region. The number of dead occupiers is being specified.
About 30 units of damaged military equipment of the enemy under repair were recorded in the village of Hola Prystan, Kherson Region.
To discredit the Defence Forces, the Russian occupiers are shelling populated areas, shifting the responsibility to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, the enemy spreads misinformation that Ukrainian citizens from the liberated territories are detained by the Ukrainian military to increase the exchange fund, accusing them of collaborating with the occupiers.
During the day, units of the missile troops and artillery of the Defence Forces of Ukraine hit 4 areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration, as well as one other important military object of the enemy.
