Russians have begun to destroy the historic centre in occupied Mariupol, an adviser to the exiled mayor, Petro Andryushchenko, has said on Telegram.
He posted a video of the house in 85 Myru Avenue being destroyed. Thus, the Russians are trying to hide the results of their bombardment.
"The occupiers got to the historic centre of Mariupol. The demolition of the house in 85 Myru Avenue. Another cover-up of the results of Russian air bombing. Thus, the history of Mariupol since World War Two is being turned into garbage. Mariupol is being turned into a city that Mariupol residents do not recognize from photos and videos. The city that remains alive only in the citizens, and absolutely dead in architecture and reality," Andryushchenko said.
