The national energy company Ukrenergo has reported significant restrictions on energy consumption in Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv regions, as well as Kyiv, following the morning attack by Iranian-made drones sent by Russia.
According to the company's press service, more significant restrictions than usual were applied in the central region due to significant damage to the energy infrastructure.
"Ukrenergo repair teams are making every effort to restore power supply as soon as possible. First of all, electricity is supplied to critical infrastructure facilities: hospitals, water utilities, boiler houses. We hope that by the end of the next day (20 December - ed.) we will be able to increase the level of power supply to consumers in the region by 20-30%," Ukrenergo noted.
