As a result of damage to a key power facility in the region, the situation with electricity supply remains critical.
This was reported by the Ternopil Regional Military Administration.
‘Over the past day, a number of technical issues have been resolved, which has made it possible to ensure the operation of all critical and social infrastructure facilities,’ the statement said.
Work is ongoing to stabilise the situation by connecting to external grids in neighbouring regions and using alternative sources of generation and cogeneration. ‘Ternopiloblenergo has been forced to introduce a schedule of electricity supply that will vary depending on the available energy resources.
‘JSC Ternopiloblenergo and the heads of communities are obliged to jointly develop schedules taking into account the need to ensure the functioning of critical infrastructure facilities, including industrial facilities with inseparable technological cycles,’ the RMA added.
Consumers are urged to use the mode of saving electricity for domestic purposes.
