Today, 20 December, Ukraine received a EUR 200 million loan from the Netherlands through the Administrated Account of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Finance Ministry has said on its website.
"The Netherlands continues to provide Ukraine with both military and financial assistance. We are grateful to the leadership and people of the Netherlands for supporting our country," Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko said.
The loan is provided on concessional terms, in particular:
- interest is accrued on the loan amount at an annual interest rate equal to the IMF basic rate of charge (the rate was fixed at 3.641% per annum);
- the final repayment of the loan is carried out 10 years from the date of loan sampling (taking into account the grace period of deferment of loan repayment for a period of 4.5 years from the date of loan sampling).
The loan funds are intended for financing expenditures of the general fund of the State Budget.
