Presidents of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Poland's Andrzej Duda and Lithuania's Gitanas Nausėda signed a joint declaration following the second summit of the Lublin Triangle in Lviv on 11 January, according to the Ukrainian presidential website.

According to Zelenskyy, this declaration was concluded following the negotiations; it reflects "the key political, humanitarian and other conclusions of today's meeting".

The document identified the priority areas of cooperation of the Lublin Triangle (in particular, within the framework of Ukraine's strategic course towards full membership in the EU and NATO). The declaration also noted the intention of Lithuania and Poland to continue providing powerful military, technical, defence, humanitarian and other support for Ukraine.

The presidents of the three states supported the convening of the Global Peace Formula Summit to consolidate international support for the peace plan proposed by Zelenskyy.

In addition, the heads of state called for the establishment of a special international tribunal on the crime of aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. They also talked about the expansion of the Black Sea Grain Initiative to other Ukrainian seaports and the continuation of the Grain from Ukraine programme.

"The signing of the Joint Declaration at the level of the Presidents of Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland registers the support of the Lithuanian and Polish parties for the prospect of Ukraine's membership in the EU and NATO as soon as the conditions allow," the website said.

During the visit to Lviv, Duda said that Ukraine would receive a company of German Leopard tanks from Poland.
