On the morning of 17 January, the Russian army carried out another massive shelling of Kherson, the First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council Yuriy Sobolevskyy reported on Telegram at about 11 o'clock. He urged the citizens to avoid open spaces as much as possible.
Over the last day, the enemy shelled the liberated part of the region 102 times.
"Today, it is an absolute anti-record," Sobolevskyy wrote.
On Sunday, the enemy fired Kherson Region 90 times. In the city of Kherson, they targeted residential areas, in particular, the building of the Red Cross.
