The Russian missile attack that hit a residential high-rise in Dnipro on 14 January killed 45 people, including six children, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Valentyn Reznichenko, has said on Telegram.
Search and rescue efforts at the site finished on 17 January.
Fifteen bodies remain to be identified. Twenty-eight people are being treated in hospitals, 10 of them in grave condition. According to the police, 39 people were rescued, including six children. Seventy-nine people were injured, including 16 children. Twenty people are still missing, including four children.
Five children were orphaned. Relatives have applied for guardianship in respect of the three of them. Two children are currently under state care, as they have no relatives who could take care of them. In total, 487 victims filed statements with the police.
