Russian troops hit the Semenivka community in Chernihiv Region from the air, Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv regional military administration, has said.
According to him, the Russians used two air-to-ground missiles.
According to the Operational Command North, the strike was recorded at around 15.45.
"...Two jet aircraft were observed launching two missiles at the territory of Ukraine, near the settlement of Semenivka. Information on casualties among the local population and destruction is being clarified," the military said.
As of 16.30, one civilian was reported wounded. Three more are under the rubble of the building.
According to a later update from Chaus, a local industrial enterprise with civilian workers came under fire. One person died, two were taken to hospital. The rubble is being cleared.
"According to the workers, there may still be up to two people there," Chaus said on Suspilne TV.
