The 362nd day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun. Russia does not stop destroying the critical infrastructure of our country, continues to carry out strikes and artillery shelling of civilian objects and civilian homes, according to a morning report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out 10 missile and 25 air strikes (Luhansk, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya Regions). It fired 62 times from multiple launch rocket systems. There are injured and dead civilians. The threat of attacks remains high throughout Ukraine.
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Shakhtarsk areas.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian Defence Forces units repelled occupiers' attacks near Hryanykivka, Kharkiv Region; Bilohorivka, Luhansk Region; Vasyukivka, Dubove-Vasylivka, Berkhivka, Bakhmut and Ivanivske, Donetsk Region.
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn, Polissya, Siversk and Slobozhansk areas. Over the past day, the areas near Karpovychy, Tymonovychy, Yanzhulivka in Chernihiv Region; Bunyakyne, Atynske, Stukalivka, Zapsilka and Pokrovka in Sumy Region; and Strilecha, Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory, Stroyivka in Kharkiv Region came under enemy fire.
In the Kupyansk and Lyman areas, the enemy fired at the localities of Kamyanka, Kolodyazne, Dvorichna, Hryanikivka, Kupyansk, Berestove, Pershotravneve in Kharkiv Region; Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Nevske, Dibrova, Bilohorivka in Luhansk Region; and Bilohorivka and Rozdolivka in Donetsk Region.
In the Bakhmut area, Vasyukivka, Berkhivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, Oleksandr-Shultine, Kurdyumivka, Ozaryanivka, Mayorsk and New York came under fire. In addition, the enemy used army aircraft to strike near Bakhmut.
In the Avdiyivka and Shakhtarsk areas, the occupiers shelled with artillery the localities of Novobakhmutivka, Vesele, Avdiyivka, Vodyane, Pervomayske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiyivka, Maryinka, Pobeda, Novomykhaylivka, Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka, Shakhtarske, Zolota Niva, Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka and Neskuchne in Donetsk Region.
In the Zaporizhzhya area, the areas of Novosilka and Novopil in Donetsk Region and Poltavka, Malynivka, Hulyaypole, Charivne, Bilohirya, Novodanylivka, Novoandriyivka and Shcherbaki in Zaporizhzhya Region were hit by shelling.
In the Kherson area, Kherson, Burhunka, Tyahynka, Antonivka in Kherson Region and Ochakiv in Mykolayiv Region were hit by shelling. Civilians were injured.
Russian occupiers are using all means to put pressure on the civilian population in the temporarily occupied territories. In some settlements of Kherson Region, the invaders are arranging places in administrative buildings for the illegal detention of Ukrainian citizens suspected of cooperating with the Defence Forces and having pro-Ukrainian views.
Over the past day, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defence Forces carried out 20 strikes on the areas of concentration of occupiers' personnel and military equipment, 7 strikes on anti-aircraft missile systems at firing positions, and two more strikes on other important enemy targets.
Our defenders also shot down an enemy Su-25 aircraft, two Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles and two Lancet-3 kamikaze drones. Missile and artillery units hit a battery of enemy multiple-launch rocket systems.
