Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SOF) in the Bakhmut area thwarted a Russian attempt to storm Ukrainian positions.
According to a message from the SOF on their telegram channel, the operators spotted the enemy while conducting reconnaissance.
The invaders failed to accumulate forces on the front lines of their defence to further assault Ukrainian positions. The Ukrainian Armed Forces killed at least seven Russian invaders. Among them: a machine gunner, a radio operator, an observer with a night vision device and an assault group.
"The enemy retreated having suffered losses," the military added.
The Special Operations Forces also destroyed a Russian electronic warfare complex in Zaporizhzhya Region.
