The 365th day of Russia’s large-scale invasion has begun. The Russian Federation is focusing its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Shakhtarsk areas. Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders repelled about 90 enemy attacks in these areas, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
The enemy launched 10 missile and 19 air strikes and conducted 37 MLRS attacks. Once again, the attacks caused casualties among the civilian population and damage to peaceful towns and villages.
The threat of Russian missile strikes remains high across Ukraine.
Volyn, Polissya, Siversk and Slobozhansk areas: the operational situation has not changed. No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were identified. The enemy employed mortars and artillery against the vicinities of Mikhalchyna Sloboda (Chernihiv Region); Sopych, Korenyok, Hirky, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Ryzhivka, and Basivka (Sumy Region); as well as against the vicinities of 18 settlements in Kharkiv Region, including Timofiyivka, Strilecha, Starytsya, Vovchansk, Vilcha, Budarky, Ambarne and Bolohivka.
Kupyansk and Lyman areas: the enemy attempted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinities of Stelmakhivka, Kreminna, Bilohorivka, and Fedorivka. Kamyanka, Dvorichna, Hryanykivka, Kotlyarivka, and Berestovka settlements (Kharkiv Region), Nevske, Chervonopivka, Kreminna, Kuzmyne, Dibrova, and Bilohorivka (Luhansk Region), Ivanivka and Yampolivka (Donetsk Region) suffered artillery shelling.
Bakhmut area: the enemy makes further attempts to attack Ukrainian positions in the vicinities of Orihovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Berkhivka, Yahidne, Maloiliyinivka, and Bakhmut (Donetsk Region). Russian forces conduct aerial reconnaissance to adjust artillery fire. More than 20 settlements, including Spirne, Vesele, Bilohorivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Berkhivka, Yahdne, Bakhmut, and Ozaryanivka (Donetsk Region) came under enemy fire.
Avdiyivka and Shakhtarsk areas: the enemy launched an offensive in the vicinities of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiyivka, Vodyane, Nevelske, Maryinka, Pobeda, Vuhledar, and Prechistivka. In total, during the past day, the occupiers carried out 43 unsuccessful attacks. Russian artillery shelled the vicinities of 22 settlements, including Novobakhmutivka, Vesele, Avdiyivka, Pervomayske, Vodyane, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiyivka, Maryinka, Paraskoviyivka, Novomykhaylivka, Vuhledar, Prechistivka, and Velyka Novosilka (Donetsk Region).
Zaporizhzhya area: the vicinities of Vremivka, Novosilka, Zelene Pole, and Novopil (Donetsk Region); Malynivka, Hulyaypole, Zaliznychne, Novodanylivka, and Kamyanske (Zaporizhzhya Region); Vyshchetarasivka, and Marganets (Dnipropetrovsk Region) were subjects to enemy attacks.
Kherson area: the city of Kherson and the vicinities of Tyahinka, Novotyahinka, Antonivka, Zelenivka, and Chornobayivka suffered enemy artillery fire.
The Russian occupiers continue the so-called “passportization” of Ukrainian citizens on the temporarily occupied territories. Thus, since 19 February, the residents of Nova Kakhovka have been receiving propaganda messages about the activities of the Russian migration service in the city.
Due to the offensive failure and significant casualties caused by the occupiers near Vuhledar, the personnel of the volunteer so-called Cossack detachment assigned to the Russian 155th marine infantry brigade (Pacific fleet), refuses to participate in further offensive actions.
Last day, Ukrainian Air Force conducted 11 airstrikes on the concentrations of Russian troops and 1 air strike against an enemy anti-aircraft missile complex in a firing position.
