The first batteries of Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems have already arrived in Ukraine, Polish Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said in an interview with the Spanish newspaper La Razon, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"Thanks to the efforts of Poland, Patriot batteries or the first Leopard tanks arrived in Ukraine," Blaszczak said, answering a question about whether Poland would insist on providing Kyiv with all the weapons it needs.
At the same time, he did not disclose any additional details about the arrival of the anti-aircraft systems in Ukraine.
"Only our joint actions - the actions of the entire free world - can tip the balance of this unjust conflict in the right direction," Blaszczak emphasized.
Speaking about the possibility of transferring Western aviation to Ukraine, he noted that decisions on this issue should be made "at a broader alliance level."
Earlier, the Ukrainian military was reported to be rapidly mastering the operation of Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems during exercises in Germany.
