Ukrainian defenders repelled numerous Russian attacks near the towns of Ivanivske and Bakhmut, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.
The Russians keep trying to reach the administrative border of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. They are focusing their main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the areas of the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, Maryinka and Shakhtarske.
According to the General Staff, during the day, Russian troops launched 23 air and 4 missile strikes on Kostyantynivka and Slovyansk in Donetsk Region. They also fired 23 times from multiple launch rocket systems.
Meanwhile, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defence Forces carried out five strikes on the clusters of Russian personnel and military equipment and one strike on the position of an anti-aircraft missile system. Rocket troops and artillery units hit three Russian clusters.
