The previous meeting in the Ramstein format was held in Brussels on 14 March. More than 50 states that support Ukrainians in the war against the Russian occupation were present.
Meetings of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defence began last April at the Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany. The name of the base has become an unofficial designation for meetings of the allies to discuss countering the enemy. The main goal of the meetings is to consolidate efforts to provide Ukrainians with the weapons they need to defend and liberate their territory.
