The Russian army is trying to break through the defence of Ukrainian troops in the Kupyansk and Lyman sectors, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.
The Russians conducted unsuccessful offensives in the direction of Hryanykivka, Masyutivka, Nevske, Serebryanske forestry, Bilohorivka and Verkhnyokamyanka. They also fired artillery near the settlements of Hryanykivka, Kupyansk and Krokhmalne in Kharkiv Region and Makiyivka, Dibrova and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Region.
In total, the Russians carried out 29 air strikes, six missile strikes and fired over 10 times from multiple rocket launchers.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Defence Forces aviation carried out 10 strikes on the clusters of Russian personnel and military equipment.
