This year, Ukraine will receive a second grant from the United States in the amount of more than $2.5 billion and another $150 million from other partners, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said on Telegram.
"Today we have adopted a decree to receive a second grant from the United States in the amount of $2.5 billion this year. The funds will come through the IBRD project and that of the International Development Association," he added.
He added that other partners would also provide $150 million.
According to Shmyhal, the funds will be used to pay salaries to rescuers, teachers, doctors, and to help pensioners, internally displaced persons, people with disabilities, and low-income families.
