The government has conducted the second indexation of pension payments during the full-scale war with Russia, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said on Telegram.
"As of today, all pensions for March have been paid. As a result of the indexation in March, pensions have increased by almost 20%. The indexation affected 10.5 million Ukrainian pensioners. The average increase amounted to almost UAH 600. Now the average pension in Ukraine is UAH 5,200 [around 140 dollars at the current exchange rate]," he noted.
