The 401st day of the Russian Federation's large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 11 missile and four air strikes, and fired 43 times from multiple launch rocket systems, according to a morning report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russia continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics against ordinary Ukrainian citizens. At night, using the S-300 air defence system, the enemy launched 9 rockets at the civilian infrastructure of the city of Kharkiv. Moreover, Russia launched 10 Shahed-136 loitering munitions, 9 of them were intercepted by our defenders.
The threat of further missile and air strikes remains high across Ukraine.
Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka areas: the enemy concentrates its main efforts on further offensive actions. Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled more than 80 enemy attacks. Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Maryinka are amid the hostilities.
Volyn, Polissya, Siversk, and Slobozhansk areas: the operational situation has not changed significantly, and there are no signs of the formation of offensive groupings. Russian militaries continue their combat training at the training grounds in the Republic of Belarus. Moreover, Russia maintains a military presence in the border areas of its Kursk and Belgorod Regions. During the past day, the enemy shelled Hirsk (Chernihiv Region); Novovasylivka, Nova Huta, Stukalyvka, Iskryskivshchyna, Volfyne, and Katerynivka (Sumy Region); as well as more than 15 settlements in Kharkiv Region, including, Kozacha Lopan, Strilecha, Oliynikove, Neskuchne, Vilcha, Krasne Pershe, and Topoli.
Kupyansk and Lyman areas: the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the vicinities of Stelmakhivka, Kuzmyne, and Berestove. Dvorichanske, Zapadne, Dvorichna, Masyutivka, Synkivka, Kupyansk, and Krokhmalne (Kharkiv Region); Novoselivske, Nevske, and Bilohorivka (Luhansk Region); as well as Rozdolivka, Kolodyazi, Torske, Siversk, and Spirne (Donetsk Region) were subjects to heavy shelling.
Bakhmut area: the enemy makes further attempts to seize the town of Bakhmut. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 22 attacks. At the same time, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the vicinities of Orihovo-Vasylivka (Donetsk Region). Moreover, the occupiers shelled Minkivka, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Druzhkivka, and Bakhmut (Donetsk Region).
Avdiyivka and Maryinka areas: the enemy attempted to advance towards Novobakhmutivka, Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiyivka, Severne, Vodyane, Krasnohorivka, and Maryynka (Donetsk Region). All attacks have failed.
The occupiers shelled Novokalynove, Keramik, Novoselivka Persha, Berdychi, Avdiyivka, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Heorhiyivka, Kurakhove, Ostrivske, Pobeda, and Novomykhaylivka (Donetsk Region).
Shakhtarske area: the enemy shelled Vuhledar, Prechistivka, Zolota Nyva, Shakhtarske and Velyka Novosilka (Donetsk Region) during the day.
Zaporizhzhya and Kherson areas: the occupiers attacked more than 30 settlements, including, Novosilka and Novopil (Donetsk Region); Olhivske, Charivne, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Novoandriyivka, and Shcherbaky (Zaporizhzhya Region); and Novooleksandrivka, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Inzhenerne, Yantarne, and Kizomys (Kherson Region).
Over the past day, Ukrainian Air Force delivered 6 air strikes on the concentrations of Russian troops. Ukrainian missile and artillery troops attacked 1 command post, 6 concentrations of enemy troops, 2 ammunition depots and 2 fuel and lubricants warehouses.
