Ukraine received energy equipment weighing 423 tons from German partners, Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko said during a meeting in Berlin with State Secretary of the German Chancellor's Office Jorg Kukis.

In total, Ukraine has received 55 cargoes of energy humanitarian aid from the Germans.

Halushchenko also emphasized the importance of Germany's €129.5 million contribution to the Energy Support Fund for Ukraine, established under the Energy Community Secretariat.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of green transformation and ending dependence on Russian energy resources, and discussed areas of cooperation in rebuilding the Ukrainian energy sector.

In particular, there is a great potential for bilateral cooperation in the production and transportation of hydrogen. Germany is considering relevant projects, including the possible modernization of the Ukrainian gas transportation system for hydrogen transportation.
