Russian troops continue to focus their main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka sectors. Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled more than 30 enemy attacks, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.

According to it, the fiercest fighting continues for the settlements of Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka.

Over the last day, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defence Forces carried out six strikes on the clusters of Russian personnel and military equipment. Missile and artillery units struck eight clusters of Russian manpower, weapons and military equipment, a fuel and lubricants depot, two anti-aircraft missile systems, an artillery unit at a firing position, and an electronic warfare station.

For their part, the Russians launched five missile and 12 air strikes, and fired more than 20 times from multiple launch rocket systems.

Zaporizhzhya and other settlements came under rocket fire. The General Staff added that the Russians used six Shahed-136 attack UAVs for air strikes, but all of them were destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.
