Ukraine and Russia have had another prisoner exchange. Some 130 Ukrainians have returned home.

"A big Easter prisoner exchange. We are bringing back 130 of our people. It took place in several stages over the past few days. Soldiers, border guards, National Guard members, sailors, employees of the State Special Transport Service... Privates and sergeants who were captured in the Bakhmut, Soledar, Zaporizhzhya, Kherson sectors," the head of the presidential office, Andriy Yermak, said on Telegram.

He stressed that Ukraine would seek the return of all people captured by Russia.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine has secured the release of more than 2,000 prisoners of war. The previous exchange took place on 10 April, when 100 defenders returned home. On 14 April, the bodies of 82 defenders were returned.
