Russian troops have attacked residential areas of Slovyansk, causing casualties, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, has said. According to Kyrylenko, 21 wounded and eight dead have been reported by 21:30.
Seven places where Russian missiles hit Slovyansk were recorded. Reports of people being pulled out of the rubble continue to come in.
According to the update at 20:17,a child who was pulled out of the rubble died in an ambulance, Darya Zarivna, communications adviser to the head of the presidential office.
According to the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office, the child was two years old. A 14-year-old girl is among the injured.
