Zelenskyy appoints Ukraine's ambassador to Netherlands

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a decree appointing Oleksandr Karasevych as Ukrainian ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the presidential office has reported.

Previously, Karasevych served as director-general of the directorate for foreign policy and strategic partnership of the presidential office. He was also a member of the working group on the establishment of a special international tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine.

On 27 September 2022, Zelenskyy dismissed Maksym Kononenko as ambassador to the Netherlands, and on 17 March 2023, he appointed him ambassador to Estonia.
