President Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff. In particular, the commander of the Ground Forces, Gen Oleksandr Syrskyy, reported that his units had made extraordinary efforts to stop the enemy and even pushed it back in some areas.
The president announced this on Telegram. He added that Gen Tarnavskyy also reported on the current situation in the Tavriya operational and strategic group.
According to Zelenskyy, the Odesa and North operational and strategic groups are also under control.
"We have identified their priority needs and got acquainted with the pace of equipment and ammunition supply to the new brigades. There were important reports from Commander-in-Chief [Valeriy] Zaluzhnyy, Minister [Oleksiy] Reznikov, the General Staff and Minister of Strategic Industry [Oleksandr] Kamyshyn. We checked all of our long-term contracts for the supply of ammunition and missiles," the president added.
The previous meeting of the Staff took place four days ago.
Participants heard reports on the operational situation at the front, the Russians' plans and the consequences of recent attacks. Commanders of the operational and strategic military groups reported on the course of hostilities.
