The secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, Oleksiy Danilov, has said that Ukraine wants to end the war completely by the end of winter.
"By winter, we want to end the war completely," Danilov said, commenting on the suggestion that the Ukrainian army is more active in spring and summer than in winter.
He also answered the question whether the war will end with the full restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity, including the liberation of Crimea.
"We have a common plan to liberate all our territories from the terrorists who attacked us. The only question is time. Whether one or several operations will be conducted depends on many circumstances," Danilov said.
He added that in the end, Ukraine will not be limited by time, but will fight as long as it takes.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently said that Ukraine needed more time to launch a counteroffensive. The Ukrainian army still needs "some things", including armoured vehicles.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that the Ukrainian army's counteroffensive may not be the last in the war with Russia. It is possible that after it, it will be necessary to prepare for a new offensive.
